Good news, we released this update today. Please log into your account and re-download your purchase (the archive name might be old but its contents are the newest build).

Re: ORDER of execution not working properly?

Hello,

There is a bug that impacts order of execution on occassion. We have good news however, this is fixed in the upcoming maintenance release 3.11D, which will be slotted for release by the end of the week.

Thanks,

Re: Images not saved

Hello,

I suspect you are refering to the same issue that was reported here: http://www.boomerlabs.com/userforum/vie ... =14&t=7613

Attached is an update version of the local render submission script which includes file saving.

Please let us know if this resolves your issue.

Thanks,

Re: Images not saved

Hello,

How are you submitting the renders? What render manager are you using (Backburner, etc)? Can you please share your graph?

Re: Saving images through Vexus Submit Scripts

Scott,

I’ll post more details tomorrow, but in short, you need to specify the output path/file name to use tokens so that they are unique on each pass. For example: $$shot/$$pass/element.png

Re: Saving images through Vexus Submit Scripts

Hello,

The simple script does not include a filename in the render command (assuming studios might want to override). The attached script fixes this. Note however that we also don't support animations with this script, if you require this, please let us know.

Thanks,

Re: Vexus and 3dsMax 2020.2

We tested loading this script in both MAX 2020 and 2020.2 with errors. Can you re-enable the script and see if you still have the issue?

Re: some issues with Vexus

Sandrine,

For large files, you probably want to increase your MAXScript heap size. You can adjust this under your MAX Preferences are shown in the attachment. A good number to use is 128 (and if you're already at 128, double the current setting)

Please let us know if this resolves your issue.

Re: Objects by layer -> assign wireColor (bug?)

To close out on this issue, it appears to be a drawing bug in 3ds MAX 2018/19. The wire color appears to have been impacted on some instances, but in fact it was not changed. The issue is resolved in MAX 2020.

At present these nodes do not exist, but it is certainly possible.

Adding these are on the roadmap.

Re: Possible to make a node to scale render resolution?

David, Regarding setting resolution, when you change the width or height, the aspect ratio is updated in MAX. To solve this, you should set the height first. For example: renderHeight = $$RES / rendImageAspectRatio renderWidth = $$RES Regarding your other question, take a look at the Maxscript Token...
