3ds Max 2013 support?

3ds Max 2013 support?

Postby egz » Fri May 11, 2012 2:43 am

When do you expect a build with support for 3ds Max 2013 to be out?

Even though there is a link between AE and Max now, I still prefer the quickness and simplicity of Max2AE most of the time.

Torgeir,

The port is in progress but taking longer than expected. My guess is 2-3 weeks before release. If you'd like to be on the Beta, please drop me a line.

Folks,

As an update, unfortunately the port to 2013 is more difficult and time consuming that originally anticipated. Stay tuned, but it will take at least several more weeks to accomplish.

Thanks,

Thanks for the update Matt. Any idea when we can get in on a beta?

Any update Matt? I've been banging state sets and the autodesk link around and it is super super buggy. I continuously have to save to 2012 to use Max2AE for my projects. Max 2 AE has been so stable and strong I can't wait until you have the 2013 build. Just checking in. Hope you are doing well.

Hey.. I see the last post here back in August.. this is a plugin I do not want to die off. I know Matt said that it was a tough port. Any other updates Matt?

Hey guys.. spoke with Matt and sounds like he has been busy, but the good news is he is back under the hood to get Max2AE ported over for 2013. So ready to have this plugin with 2013.. :)

Thank the lord. I'm so sick of going back and forth between 2013 and 2012 to get my cameras and stuff into AE. Good luck Matt! This plugin is so awesome!

Is there any update on the status of a 2013 version?

Folks,

I'm please to announce of MAX2AE 3.7 which includes MAX 2013, CS6 and Unicode Support! Thank for your patience as this very difficult port took a lot of effort.

Thanks,
