key frame or something else?

Postby saadkhan » Wed Jul 08, 2009 10:18 am

i am having a problem with max2ae, i have created a small chamfer box with two lights and a target camera, i animated camera from left to right (up to down view) timeline to pal 720x576 and same when exporting max2ae layer, i tried checked and unchecked 'Maintain Hierarchy' and same with 'Drop' on 25fps and i rendered my max scene on same prefences 720x576.
When i import the comp in 'AE CS4' and max rendered TGA sequence in my comp, the animation of max2ae layers moves little slower, when i make camera keyframes to move faster by selecting all camera keyframes and holding alt and bring keyframes closer to match the rendered 3ds max scene, it works bit fine.
Is this the way max2ae works ? OR it should maintain everything by itself ? i need help on it badly.
I believe it would be great if everything fits perfectly (same as 3ds max scene) in After Effects.
