Thankyou!

About the lights, now I had a bit more time to test, and yes, still not working.
I'll attach a screenshot just in case I have something setup wrong. but with objects works, but not with lights so might be a bug.

VRL_dome_001 will never get selected with this setup.

Thank you for giving a look.

Now that I have a bit more time I'm trying what you said about submitting to backburner directly from Vexus instead of using the script.

I've been trying to make it work, but not so lucky. How is supposed to work? I tried adding the backburner script in the settings to "submit-script" but didn't work. shows the dialog to submit but nothing happens.
I would need to program a submit script by myself?
Well you said you where working on it so might get better in future versions.
Thank you a lot for the effort. its actually a very cool tool to use, I'm so excited about it.

Could be a way that we could choose if we want to do a quick render without saving the frame?
We are using the "quick render" to check stuff but most of the time we don't want that render to be saved. I've set up a token for that matter, but makes me wonder if one day, with all the rush we go through some times, we are gonna submit the final and don't switch the toggle back to "save mode" again...

Be able to paste an URL into the "custom tokens" could be awesome.

Here it is. I tried to upload the max file but is 2mb.
I deleted part of the graph that i'm not using. anyways with only this part also happens. I moved up a lot 2 nodes. I hope you will understand.
The left one works. the right one won't work.

Thankyou!

Hello,

I only see 1 graph. When one isn't working?

sorry, maybe wasn't as clear as I thought.

If you use it like it is, will exclude the object "floor"
If you, of course, activate the right exclude node, and deactivate the left one. won't exclude anything in my case.

hope now is easier to understand.

I think I see the problem. The on the right one, the "Exclude" happens after the Object Properties node. So, the object is included, the properties are set, then the objects are excluded but there is no properties action to change how it behaves.

Make sense?

Omg.. it makes so much sense now.

I added that object again and set the properties to NOT renderable. end of the problem.
sorry, second time using vexus And struggled a bit. hehe. Little by little understanding how it works.

Thankyou.

Can you do that? i got the impression the submission from Vexus node editor is only for deadline?
i have tried pressing the submission button few times, but nothing happened, and there was no option to set what render manager to use.
is there any documentation on this?

THanks!

May be that is transitory, however the Backburner submitter now and again won't discover the Backburner administrator.
Is simply me or other individuals is likewise experiencing it?

Also here with same problem.
looks quite random, couldn't find a pattern on why sometimes can't find it. Rebooting fix the problem. sometimes closing max and opening it again, also works.

Folks,

As an update to Backburner issues, we released V3.1 today which adds submission script support for Backburner. You should now be able to do a submission directly from the Vexus node editor by pointing to these scripts in the following folder:
C:\Program Files\Vexus\Samples\mxs\submission\backburner

As illustrated below:

Thankyou,

That way of submitting looks so convenient!
I loaded both scripts like you said, I submit from vexus and it opens the little popup windows, I can select the manager and submit, but nothing happens then... Nothing appears in Backburner Monitor / manager.

I tested with a new scene and also an old scene. in 2019 and 2020
